This means that our town will be competing at a national level against other regions across the UK.
So we'll be working extra hard this year to make sure that Middleton is looking it's best.
The Middleton in Bloom Group is a voluntary group that works all year round to help keep our town clean, cared for and beautiful.
Our core team are supported by various community groups and organisations who care for specific areas, parks and neighbourhoods within the Township and come together to share their amazing efforts.
Each year we enter the Middleton Township into the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) North West in Bloom Awards, where we go head-to-head with towns from across the North West.
This year, in addition to taking part in the regional North West in Bloom competition, Middleton has also been selected to represent the North West in the National Britain in Bloom Competition. We are delighted that our efforts and our town have been recognised with this prestigious opportunity, and we'll be working extra hard with our volunteers and partners to make sure that we put on a great show when the judges arrive in Middleton.
